Bird Talk and Pot Luck Dinner with John Boettcher: Sunday, April 19th, 3pm.
Join John as he discusses which birds we might see when sailing on Irondequoit Bay or Lake Ontario. He will highlight the field marks and behaviors that will help you identify birds. John will also share information about which birds are present as the seasons change, and he will provide key tips on using binoculars. Lastly, the group will check to see which birds are currently visible and use scopes to get good looks at them. Bring your binoculars!
Participants are asked to bring a dish to pass for the pot luck dinner following John’s talk. Water, ice tea, and coffee will be provided.
