From racing to cruising, Newport Yacht Club is home to a wide variety of sailboats. Not only do we have Irondequoit Bay to sail but Lake Ontario is a short distance away. The bay offers a unique opportunity as the afternoon thermals provide great wind into the evening.

Newport Yacht club has a variety of racing events planned for 2025!
Thursday Nights feature our entire fleet racing on the Bay!
Saturday mornings the Cruisers and Catalina 22s race on the lake, weather permitting.
Sunday afternoon is our primary small boat racing, although the Cruisers often show up as well!
